Union Presbyterian Seminary
We provide a variety of degree programs to prepare students for their unique ministerial contexts. Our students include those who are just beginning their careers in ministry and those who are hoping to further their education. Our basic degree programs include the Master of Divinity, Master of Christian Education, and Master of Public Theology. Students with previous theological education are eligible for our Master of Theology and Doctorate of Ministry programs. We also offer non-degree programs for lay leaders and continuing education for clergy.
Our seminary has campuses in Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC in addition to offering some programs in hybrid and online formats. Our graduates serve as pastors of Christian congregations, directors of Christian education, chaplains, international mission workers, social workers, camp directors, and professors of Bible, theology, or religious studies at colleges, universities, and seminaries.
